Each country within Africa is very different when it comes to the safari and cultural experience and so choosing the right safari destination is key to ensuring you have the best time on your African Safari with us. Some countries are better for first time safari goers (South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania), whilst others are better for more adventurous guest (walking safaris in Zambia and Zimbabwe). Combining countries to get different experiences is even more possible now with regional flights becoming more convenient compared to several years ago.

Aside from the standard African Safari destinations like South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana and Zimbabwe, we also pride ourselves in specializing in some of the more off the beaten track destinations like Madagascar, Uganda, Rwanda, The Congo and Zambia. Even within the “standard” African Safari destinations, we prefer to get you off the beaten track and to get away from the crowds to really maximize your overall safari experience.

When it comes to beaches, Africa is blessed with miles of unspoiled white sandy beaches, lapped by turquoise waters teeming with marine life. Combining a safari to Africa with a relaxing beach holiday is a must. The beaches of Mozambique combine well with a safari to Southern Africa, while The Seychelles works well with East African safaris as well as Southern African safaris with regular flights connecting safari and beach. Zanzibar is world famous, but becoming overcrowded, so we prefer some of the smaller islands off the coast of Tanzania.

Madagascar is one big island with several tropical beaches to choose from after your adventures of tracking lemurs through the forests. One of our all time favorite island destinations is Sao Tome & Principe off the west coast of Africa. These undeveloped paradise islands are dominated by towering volcanic peaks covered in thick forests that flow down to golden beaches and turquoise waters. A little tricky to get to, but the journey is well worth the end result.

Antarctica looks a little out of place for an African Safari, but we have partnered with a company that offers flights direct from Cape Town to their own luxury lodge on the icecaps of Antarctica – one of only 2 lodges on the continent. It is therefore the perfect addition to your safari in Southern Africa.
