Days 1, 2, 3 and 4 – Cape Town

You will be met when you arrive in Cape Town, South Africa and transferred to the hotel for the next 4-nights. Cape Town is one of the most scenically beautiful cities in the world, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and crossed by mountains, it really does have it all. Stanley Safaris has partnered with some of the best guides in the city so you can spend your days exploring Cape Town and surrounding Winelands in a unique way, specifically tailored to your interests. Whether you are interested in the arts, the history of South Africa, the vibrant food scene, being active, or simply want to explore a variety of wine farms and sample the incredible wines, we can make that all happen. Cape Town is our home, this is what we live and breathe each day, so we know the secret little spots away from the crowds.

Days 5 and 6 – Cape Winelands

Just a short distance from Cape Town is the Cape Winelands, home to some of the best wine estates in the world. Spend your day exploring the Winelands with your guide, tasting some of the best wines along the way. Meet the winemakers and enjoy the hospitality in this beautiful part of South Africa. This is the perfect way to end your luxury safari holiday in South Africa.

Days 7, 8 and 9 – Sabi Sands

After a couple of days exploring the Cape Winelands, you transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Mpumalanga where you will be met and transferred to the world-famous Sabi Sands Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. The Sabi Sands is home to the Big Five and is one of the best places in Africa to see the elusive leopard. There are several lodges to choose from within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve to explore the area on daily morning, afternoon, and night game drives as well as walking safaris. Night drives offer guests the chance to see the predators being a little more active. This is when the leopards are on the hunt, using their stealth to take down prey under the cover of darkness. Night safaris also offer the chance to see other nocturnal animals like porcupines, genets, hyenas, springhares, and civets.
