South Africa & Mozambique Honeymoon Safari
Days 1, 2 and 3 - Cape Town
Cape Town is one of the most scenically beautiful cities in the world, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and crossed by mountains, it really does have it all. Stanley Safaris has partnered with some of the best guides in the city so you can spend your days exploring Cape Town and surrounding Winelands in a unique way, specifically tailored to your interests. Whether you are interested in the arts, the history of South Africa, the vibrant food scene, being active or simply want to explore a variety of wine farms and sample the incredible wines, we can make that all happen. Cape Town is our home, this is what we live and breathe each day, so we know the secret little spots away from the crowds.

Days 4 and 5 - Cape Winelands
A short drive (or helicopter flight) from Cape Town is the world-famous Cape Winelands. Situated in a picturesque setting, surrounded by mountains and vineyards, this is the perfect way to dive into the making of some of the world’s best wines. Explore the Winelands with an expert guide who has access to the smaller, family-run wineries and taste the wines whilst enjoying the scenery of the area. The Winelands is also home to some extraordinary world-class restaurants that really combine the flavors of South Africa paired perfectly with the wines from the region.

Days 6, 7 and 8 - Sabi Sands Game Reserve
From Cape Town you fly to the Sabi Sands where you will be met by your guide for a safari in the world-famous Sabi Sands, bordering the Kruger National Park. The Sabi Sands shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, allowing the free movement of wildlife and therefore ensuring a rich wildlife experience. The Sabi Sands is renowned as one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five. From your lodge enjoy morning, afternoon, and night game drives as well as walking safaris in search of the wildlife of the Sabi Sands. The Sabi Sands is world famous for its leopard sightings. Leopards are traditionally shy, but for some reason the leopards of the Sabi Sands are more relaxed around vehicles, allowing guests unique opportunities to see them day and night. The Sabi Sands is also home to cheetahs, wild dogs, and other general animals.

Days 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 - Bazaruto Islands, Mozambique
From the Sabi Sands get a short flight to Nelspruit in time for your onward flight to Vilanculos in Mozambique. From Vilanculos, you get a short helicopter flight over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean to the Bazaruto Islands. Turquoise waters, palm trees, and powdery white beaches are the norms of the Bazaruto Islands. Under the sea, the waters are teeming with colorful fishes gliding over tropical reefs. Spend your days relaxing and soaking up the sun or enjoy some of the activities on offer by the lodge. Scuba diving, sailing, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, dhow trips, stand-up paddle, and Island excursions are all on offer to guests. This is the perfect end to your South African safari.
