Tanzania Walking Safari
Days 1 and 2 – Serengeti National Park
From Arusha you get a flight to the very northern section of the Serengeti National Park overlooking the Masai Mara. The camp is located meters from the Mara River, one of the main crossing points for the wildebeest during their annual migration. Spend 2 nights in the camp enjoying morning and afternoon game drives.
Days 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 – Serengeti National Park
This is when the real adventure starts as you embark on a 5-night walking safari through the northern sections of the Serengeti National Park. Being on foot allows you to get away from the tracks and vehicles and to explore a real wilderness away from the crowds. This is when your senses become sharper as you hear, smell, taste and see parts of Africa that you don’t get when you are in a vehicle. From the small termites to the largest elephants, this is what it is all about.
Days 8 and 9 – Serengeti National Park
Return to the relative luxury of the main camp for the final 2 nights of your Tanzanian Walking Safari. Kick back and savor G&Ts around the campfire, reminiscing the past few days of true African adventure.
